Another week, another chance.

Could I look more uncomfortable?

Could I look more uncomfortable?

Hey everyone,

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you all had a nice weekend and that you’re moving into this week with vim and vigor or you know, whatever motivational buzz words get you moving.

It’s a new week and remember a new week means another chance.  A chance for what? That’s for you to decide. A chance to change, a chance to succeed, maybe a chance to try something new.

It doesn’t really matter as long as you try and take a little risk.  That’s my take on it anwyay

I’m in week two of the diet and am noticing the benefits.  Still a little cranky but hey that’s on me.  Wednesday as part of the midweek update I’ll be posting a recipe I concocted that’s high in protein and fiber and low on fat but very tasty and satisfying so you may want to come back for that.

But let’s get to the stuff.

Over on Reluctant Joy this week I’ve posted something called “Conformity” I like to think it comes off as a bit of a beat style poem, but who knows.

One of the things that has helped me greatly with my sobriety has been getting back in touch with my spirituality and that means performing ritual magick.

Conformity is something I tend to recite before engaging in rites concerning the breaking down of personal barriers and I find it very helpful in raising my energy levels.  I hope you enjoy it for what it is but , if you too engage in your own workings feel free to use it or adapt it for yourself.  http://bit.ly/rljywp

Over on the podcast I’m talking with my buddy Palmer about his trip to the Toronto film festival, our run ins with celebrities, and we geek out on tv and film in general.  There will be a new episode Wednesday as usual but catch the current one here on podbean http://bit.ly/1KOLDsH or iTunes.

As always you can follow me on twitter here http://bit.ly/1YIWqZA

Facebook you ask?  Of course http://bit.ly/fnbrjwp

And hey it’s perfect for the melancholy psychopath in your life so pick up a copy of my pulp novel The Geek available in paperback and ebook on amazon and as an ebook pretty much everywhere from iTunes to Barnes & Noble, good reads and more.  http://amzn.to/1JUFjtH

Have a great Monday all and I’ll see you back here for the midweek update.

Best,

Jonathangc
