Ah Wednesday only seven days to go until next Wednesday.

Hey all,

Welcome back to the mothership.  I hope the week is being good to you, things are pretty good around here.

So first off and most importantly I promised you a recipe and so a recipe you shall have.  This is just a little tasty thing I concocted that I hope you enjoy.

Get a good sauté pan and heat that bad boy up.  I’ve been using coconut oil but you can use any oil you want.  Take one whole, diced onion and throw it in, let them caramelize.  To this add any lean meat you like, I used veal.  I trimmed the fat and cut it into small cubes.  Throw them in the pan.

Take 10-15 washed, and chopped asparagus (I cut mine into 3s) and add them.  To this throw in 3 sliced roma tomatoes.  Cover pan with lid and let simmer.

I didn’t add any salt but you certainly can.  I did add some paprika which I thought added some nice flavor.

You can eat this as is or serve over rice. I ate mine with red rice which I thought really complimented the meat and veg.  The dish is low in fat, high in protein and fiber with a decent amount of carbs without going crazy.

Let me know what you think.

Now on to the shenanigans.

I’ve got stories and thinky things over on Reluctant Joy for your reading pleasure http://bit.ly/rljywp

The fine folks over at TV Campfire were nice enough (or dumb enough) to have me back on and that was a whole lot of fun.  http://bit.ly/1G1TxwV

There’s a brand new episode of Stuff & Stuff up and available for streaming or download on podbean or iTunes.  This week we’re talking about lots of stuff like Sasha Grey, Screaming Females and Dengue Fever.  We discuss the sadness of Dave & Buster’s, Buffalo Wild Wings and why Fantasy Football is really just Dungeons & Dragons.  http://bit.ly/1KOLDsH

As usual I’m going to take a moment to plug my book.  Paperback is available on amazon but ebook is available on amazon, iTunes, goodreads, Barnes & Noble and pretty much everywhere magic books that appear on your tablet are sold. http://amzn.to/1JUFjtH

Why not follow me on twitter, each of my tweets contains 30% or your daily recommended shenanigans which we all know is part of a well balanced diet. http://bit.ly/1YIWqZA

And of course my facebook page which is not completely full of shenanigans but is high in fiber and that’s got to be good for you, it’s like an electronic bran muffin.  http://bit.ly/fnbrjwp

Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone gets through their week and has an awesome weekend.

Best,
